COVID-19 seems to have a firm grip on the world at the moment but restrictions are easing. Our face-to-face group classes hosted at Tilston War Memorial Hall are still temporarily being replaced by different options:
Online puppy training classes OR 1-2-1 puppy training in your own home.
Online weekly puppy training classes are hosted via the internet! Train remotely and safely from home. We have tested our virtual classes online with our clients and our puppy owners really loved it.
Our experienced tutor Sabine will use clear technique demonstration videos with personal teaching and coaching, giving you the opportunity to practice at home where your puppy will be more relaxed and less distracted. Our small online class sizes (1-3 puppies) means great personal tuition, too.
The other option is 1-2-1 private puppy training taking place in your own garden.
We will be back with face-to-face classes as soon as we can but, in the meantime, train with us online or 1-2-1 to save wasting this precious time with your puppy.
It’s a difficult time for everyone now but your puppy experts are still here for you! Stay safe everyone, we will get through this together!
During the current lockdown we are operating our Puppy School courses online. These are interactive, small classes (1-3 puppies) with live coaching from Sabine. We have received fantastic feedback from clients – check out the testimonials we have received already!
The course covers the same training content as our normal hall-based, face-to-face training classes, just via the internet and in the comfort of your own home instead – which has resulted in owners reporting that their puppies have been able to concentrate better!
You'll receive clear technique demonstration videos with personal teaching and coaching, giving you the opportunity to practice at home where your puppy will be more relaxed and less distracted.
Whilst the important socialisation opportunities cannot be met in online training, the online course will provide advice on how you can still achieve positive socialisation experiences during this time of lockdown and social distancing.
Each puppy to sign up will get a training manual in the post and certificate & rosette at graduation.
The classes go through all puppy basics (come when called, sit, down, stand, wait, loose lead walking, food manners, settle, handling) and also goes through ways to help prevent & manage common puppy problems.
All of this is based on teaching them good habits while they are young, using kind methods only (so lots of treats, toys and fuss to build their confidence and reward them).

The Puppy School course is 6 weeks long and costs £95.
There are no more than 8 puppies per course, the small group size ensures a good standard of teaching.
The classes are well organised & managed to ensure that all puppies are given the best chance of having a positive experience and to set them up for success.
Puppies can attend once cleared by the vet (this is often after second vaccination) and must be under 20 weeks old to begin the classes, this ensures that all of the puppies are in a similar stage of development and therefore it’s easier to gently mould their behaviour to what we would like! Each puppy to sign up will also get a lovely hamper from Natures Menu & training manual in the post, a goodie bag with treats, chews and a hand made fleece tug toy in the first class, and certificate & rosette at graduation.
The classes go through all puppy basics (come when called, sit, down, stand, wait, loose lead walking, food manners, settle, handling) and also goes through ways to help prevent & manage common puppy problems.

Socialisation is key during the course and puppies will get used to people, children and the other puppies in a safe environment while encouraging appropriate behaviour. For course dates and to book a space - get in touch with us!
